For adult amaeturs I would recommend you try my Student Medium Hard Oboe Reed  which is more free blowing. These professional reeds have a little more resistance built into the transition or slope that allow the reed to project in a concert hall, and withstanding the test of orchestral and wind band music.  Made from Tchankaya cane, the cane is strong yet flexible to play both delicate and vigorous music. These reeds are tied onto the high quality Chiarugi cork staples. Price listed is per 1 reed. These reeds are tuned to A=440.
